Description
A lovely house in a quiet street in the middle of beautiful Weespersluis!
In Weespersluis, water, public green and variety are central. The houses are all different and built in the richly decorated architectural style "Fin-de-siècle" which, together with the many flowers, gives a lively and lush street view. Weespersluis is very centrally located, with the historic town centre of Weesp nearby, as well as the NS railway station and the exit roads, which enable you to be in Amsterdam within 15 minutes.
The Fort Abcoudestraat is also a charming and varied street. Number 19 is in a quiet and car-free area and is white with dark decorative borders. This part of the street is located exactly between the playground and the future Muiderslot Park that will be finished at the end of this year.
To get to the front door of this nice house you walk through a small white gate into the front garden. This front garden is big enough for a bench and a table, the ideal place for a drink in the evening sun!
Upon entering this energy efficient house you enter a spacious hallway with toilet and stairs to the first floor.
At the end of the hallway, a black door with glass panels gives you a view of the living room and the garden. The living room with herringbone floor and open kitchen is light and spacious because of the top-to-bottom windows and opening door to the garden.
At the front, overlooking the street, you will find the modern black kitchen, with a playful touch due to the white underground tiles and black grout. Furthermore, the kitchen is fully equipped, including a Siemens combi oven, fridge with freezer, dishwasher, extractor and an induction hob with space for 5 pans.
The garden is east facing and there is plenty of space for outdoor dining and lounging. There is a spacious shed and there is a private back.
First floor
From the landing there is access to the three bedrooms and centrally located the bathroom. There is (very luxurious) a separate toilet on the landing. At the front of the house is a spacious bedroom. On the other side, two more bedrooms overlooking the garden.
A lot of attention has been paid to the bathroom: The walls are covered with large natural stone-look tiles interspersed with narrow strips with niches for your shampoo. A double natural stone washbasin, mirror with lighting, large rain shower, designer towel radiator and bathtub complete the luxurious hotel feeling.
Second floor
The attic now has one separate bedroom and a sports/work room that can be further finished to your own liking and enlarged for example by placing dormers. You will also find here the technical room with the CV boiler from 2019 and the laundry room.
