Description

Living in the nicest house in the street, don't you want that?

A beautifully designed free-standing house with the charm of a 1930s house, but the quality of this century.

This spacious detached villa of 173 m2 living area is built in 2010 and has a beautiful covered terrace in the middle of the green oasis the backyard is, which is about 260 m2. The ditch where the garden is located is connected to open water to the Zaan.

The house is stylish, built with care and good materials and features include hardwood frames with insulated glass (HR ++), stone window sills and wooden panel doors. In the entire house, the construction and finish form a tasteful and harmonious combination.

Enjoy this unique villa with its surrounding green garden, sauna, beautiful terrace and private jetty.

Layout ground floor
The entrance is on the side of the house, where you enter through a classic, custom-made front door. Here you will find a spacious hall, with wardrobe, cupboard, toilet with urinal and stairs to the floor. A glass panel door provides access to the living room with open kitchen. At the front you can find the large but cosy living room with impressive fireplace, built-in bookcase, a bay window and lots of light.

In the middle, in the bay window at the side of the house, there is room for a large dining table, at the rear of the house is the kitchen.
This is large, custom made and with both the window and the French doors completely focused on the garden. The kitchen is complete with built-in china cabinet, a Boretti cooker with a double oven, an extra large built-in dishwasher of the brand Miele, a Quooker and built-in soap pump. The worktop is made of Belgian bluestone.

Through the kitchen you have access to the utility room with connections for the washing equipment. A door in the utility room leads to the driveway, there is also a staircase in the utility room that leads to the basement (approx. 6.80 x 3.20 meters and 2.45 (!) Meter high), with sauna and pantry.

The entire ground floor has underfloor heating and is finished with natural stone laid in a random pattern. All doors are panel doors in the style of the thirties.

Garden
The front garden has a green hedge against the view, and there is a flagpole. There can be parked on the driveway, and here is also a door to the garden behind and an outlet.

The backyard is a green oasis with lots of privacy and places to stay and is full of fruit trees (pears, apples, grapes, apricots, figs), flowers all year round, a chicken run for a fresh egg every day and the wood storage for the fireplace inside and the terrace fireplace in the outdoor fireplace.

At any time of the day you can sit outside in this garden. You can choose between the terrace by the kitchen, the jetty behind the house or until late in the evening on the spacious covered terrace with wood fire. This terrace is part of a beautifully designed stone barn which has been founded and is equipped with electricity, water and a handy attic. Besides this barn is a newly built wooden barn.

At the back of the garden is a wide and deep jetty, where you can moor a boat and sit comfortably. There is also a tap where ditch water can be pumped up to water the garden in hot dry summers without wasting water.

The house has automatic exterior lighting all around.

Layout 1st floor
The staircase leads to a spacious landing, from which you have access to three bedrooms, the bathroom and a separate toilet. The largest bedroom (across the full width of the house) is at the rear of the house and has air conditioning for the very hot days. The built-in cupboards are not only practical, but also hide a large television. At the front are two more bedrooms, both with practical built-in cupboards.

The very spacious bathroom has a large window, walk-in shower with rain shower and separate shower head, a bathtub and a double sink. The antique heating radiator in the bathroom serves as an optional extra and is nice as a towel warmer.

Also on this floor there is underfloor heating, complemented by radiators with neat casings.
Both the fitted wardrobes and the radiator casings are in keeping with the style of the house.
A staircase behind a door from the landing leads to the second floor.

Layout 2nd floor
The fixed staircase gives access to the attic with a window in the front and the back. This floor can be used as an extra bedroom, storage or hobby room or a combination of these.
